An integrated programme targeted at the ‘Malayali’ tribal women of Vathalmalai Hills in Dharmapuri District, Tamil Nadu state, that aims at empowerment of the tribal women while addressing the root cause for their plight—the destruction of the hill environment.

	Nursery development and afforestation programmes
	Water-shed management programmes
