Trust HELP undertakes specific
Projects and Programmes in accordance with the needs of its constituency, its
partner community - the
marginalised and downtrodden sections of the society, particularly the
communities whose lives and livelihoods are threatened by environment
destruction and mismanagement of local resources
Its interventions include:
Those specific to an affected
community such as communities facing an occupational hazard and livelihood
threat from industries such as the tanning industries (COWDP)
and the stone quarry industries (ALP) and communities
facing a livelihood threat from poorly managed resources such as the tribal community
(ITWDP)
Marginalised communities at
large who are the potential victims - the first and the worst to be
affected - due to mismanagement of local resources (PLRMM)
(including small farmers and landless agricultural coolies, Dhalits,
Tribal people and women of these communities)
