Operating in Chrompet and Pallavaram, suburbs of Chennai, with organized and unorganized labourers, including child workers employed in tanneries, the programme aims to eliminate child labour, empower women and stimulate environment conservation consciousness

The programme consists of; 

	Self-Help Groups for women from marginalised families
	Empowerment training for the realisation of their basic democratic rights
	Education: Transit schools for child-labourers and Supplementary Education  for school-going children
	Campaign and advocacy programmes
